WELCOMING SPRING

04/18/2017

Finally shedding the rest of my winter layers and welcoming spring with open arms. The last of my sweaters and boots are packed for storage, and my closet has officially transitioned. What better way to welcome the new season than with this off-the-shoulder embroidered top. I’m still digging all things embroidery at the moment. Recently embroidered roses seems to be on repeat, but I’m excited for a few others I’m planning to share with you guys this Spring.

TOP c/o Shein // SHORTS Topshop (also digging the distressed, black, and white)

I paired this top with my favorite Topshop shorts. I’ve been living in this pair since the temps turned up, and I have a feeling that will be the case well into summer. I love the high waist – its a super flattering cut and pairs well with crop tops. The material is A++, as they’ve already passed my wash-dry-repeat test. They are also pool & beach tested & approved, which is important.. because jean shorts are one of the best bathing suit cover-up options. I have my eye on the distressed, white, and black variations too!

I hope you guys had a wonderful Easter and great start to the week! Xx, A

Such a great combination. I have been loving off the shoulders lately, just like everyone else 😀

    Hope you’re having a great week 🙂

But the most defining of moments came about when I paid attention to the signs and trusted my gut. Chasing down dreams is equally about planning for the expected and embracing the unexpected."
