Invitations Made Easy with Paperless Post

03/13/2017

Wedding season is fast-approaching, so I wanted to share a little bit about those getting hitched in my life! My long-time roomie (and friend) ties the knot this June, and I could not be more excited for her and her beau. They are two peas in a pod, and my (pretend) god-dog Wally gets a dad! He’s the handsome yellow lab making regular appearances on my snapchat stories.. follow along here!

As the bride’s sister began to plan the Bachelorette Party, I volunteered to handle the invitations, knowing I could trust Paperless Post. With so many moving parts involved in wedding planning, I appreciate any company that makes things less complicated and run smoothly. Paperless Post is that company. They even have a dedicated Wedding section for all bridal needs!

Despite the name, Paperless Post isn’t all paperless. Any of their custom e-vites can easily be turned into actual paper invitations. The best part? The process is super easy start to finish!

INVITATIONS IN FIVE SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. First, choose wether you’re going paper or paperless. My bride leans a little more towards the traditional side, so I chose a paper invite.
  2. Second, select your event type to see suggested templates. Paperless Post uses both independent and household-name designers such as Rifle Paper Co., Kate Spade, & Oscar de la Renta. The templates are fully customizable, including text placement, colors, envelopes liners, and more. I even added a coordinating itinerary card to our Chorus Line themed invites (see this design here). As a graphic designer herself, I knew my bride would appreciate Paperless Post’s attention to detail like the weight of the printed card-stock, so I customized that feature too.
  3. Once you’re happy with your design, upload your addresses with their quick and easy-to-use website feature. This was my favorite part! So painless!
  4. Complete your order.
  5. Next, receive your Paperless Post package in the mail. Then, simply seal & deliver your beautifully custom-designed invitations.. & its party time!

Hope you guys have a great rest of your week! Follow me on Instagram here to see how the Bachelorette party goes! We’re headed to Asheville – any good recommendations?

Xx, Alley
