Another full day of SXSW and this look was my favorite! I picked up this embroidered denim jacket from Forever21. I wasn’t sure about investing in the designer version – as I know embroidery is a hot trend right now. Instead, I opted for this dupe, and I can’t wear it enough. For sizing, I bumped up to a Medium to achieve an oversized fit. It’s so comfortable and felt perfectly vintage and worn-in from the start. I’m sometimes skeptical about the quality of items from fast-fashion stores, but I was actually impressed by this jacket. The embroidered design is top-notch, and I’m not worried about any snagging in the future.

We ate at an amazing food-truck-connected-to-a-bar Italian place this night. They had a few DJs playing live sets which was the perfect backdrop for the outdoor seating area. We stood in line at the food truck, deciding between freshly made pastas, sauces, and meatballs. The food took about 45 minutes to come out, but holy moly was it worth it. If you are heading to Austin, I highly recommend this place, specifically the Lemon thyme fettuccine & bruschetta!

This top is also on another level of brilliant. You guys know I love my white tees – and LNA has found a way to reinvent a white tee so I can love it even more. They have these amazing ripped & cut-out tops that are super soft and fit great. It adds another element to your basic v-neck look. Have these styles been around long? If they have, I’ve been missing out! My only regret is that I didn’t order more than one! Can’t wait to add gray and black options to my closet. They even come in muscle and other varieties. I’ve linked some below for you guys!

My shorts were part of a two-piece set from Princess Polly Boutique (online) last year. They have an updated version of last year’s set here. This boutique has some pretty unique items for a good deal. Just be careful how you care for them – I’m afraid the top to this set was lost to the washing machine last spring. RIP.

I hope you guys have a great rest of the week! Thanks for reading and Happy Wednesday!     Xx, Alley
