My recent trip to St. Petersburg was short, but sweet. A quick Sunday flight out of the Queen City, and wheels up again Tuesday morning at 7… but anything to watch my beloved Alma Mater win the National Championship game for the first time in 35 years! I also didn’t mind leaving behind the snowy Charlotte weather and heading towards sunnier skies. I’ve recapped my trip for you guys, including one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve patroned in a while – it’s a must try if you’re in the area!
I tried my first juice cleanse about a year ago, after a friend’s recommendation and I loved it. There are a lot of misconceptions about the process: what it involves, how it makes you feel, and the benefits/outcomes. I wanted to share my experience with you guys so I teamed up with Juice Bar Charlotte last week & completed their 3-day Essential Cleanse. This was my first 3-day experience, so I’ve documented my progress and answered your questions about my journey below!
Traveling during the holidays can be stressful. My story always begins with good intentions. This is the year I’m going to pack just the right amount – my suitcase won’t weigh 100 lbs, and I will feel accomplished and dignified when I arrive with 1 piece of luggage. Minimum 2. Fast-forward to Rook yelling that he’s ready & getting in the car, while I’m frantically grabbing a curling iron I haven’t looked at in three years, because you never know right?? I admittedly recall trips where I’ve managed to sneak in cowboy boots, while simultaneously forgetting the necessary basics. Like a toothbrush.
There is something to be said for my love of classic accessories, and something even more to be said for my love of classic neutral accessories. This JORD Wood Watch has quickly captured my attention and jumped to the top of my go-to / must-have list.
